Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Rogue Chat, including the website, account features, WhatsApp experience, AI assistant features, and related services. By using Rogue Chat, you agree to these terms.

Rogue Chat is owned and operated by Victor Panteleev. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Rogue Chat. If you are using Rogue Chat on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

You are responsible for keeping your account and authentication providers secure. You must provide accurate account information and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Rogue Chat may let you sign in through Google or other authentication providers using Clerk. Google sign-in is used only for authentication, account management, abuse prevention, and security.

You are responsible for your relationship with your authentication provider, including keeping that account secure and complying with the provider terms that apply to you.

You may not use Rogue Chat to violate the law, infringe the rights of others, send spam, distribute malware, harass or threaten others, attempt to bypass access controls, scrape or overload the service, reverse engineer non-public systems, or interfere with the security or operation of Rogue Chat.

You may not use Rogue Chat to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, abusive, exploitative, or intended to facilitate harm. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use creates legal, security, abuse, or operational risk.

You are responsible for the messages, prompts, files, images, and other content you submit to Rogue Chat. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content and to allow Rogue Chat to process it to provide the service.

You retain your rights in your content. You grant Rogue Chat a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and use your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for evaluating responses before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety, or other high-impact decisions.

Rogue Chat depends on third-party services including WhatsApp, Meta, Clerk, Google, OpenAI, AWS, Supabase, and Vercel. Their services may have separate terms and privacy policies that apply to your use of those services.

We are not responsible for third-party service outages, policy changes, account restrictions, delivery failures, or other issues outside our control.

Rogue Chat is currently offered as a closed beta. Features, model availability, message limits, supported platforms, and access may change at any time.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we may limit or revoke access when necessary to operate the beta, protect users, comply with law, or protect the service.

Rogue Chat is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rogue Chat and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or security incidents arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use Rogue Chat in the three months before the claim or EUR 100.

You may stop using Rogue Chat at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we discontinue the service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions about content rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-related terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Rogue Chat after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
